Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake is a world-first technology that, with radars and cameras, can detect pedestrians in front. It will warn you and then automatically activate full braking power if you fail to respond in time. The system can avoid a collision at speeds up to 35 km/h. Other safety features include Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake, Distance Alert, Driver Alert Control and Lane Departure Warning. City Safety, another world-first technology, prevents collisions with a vehicle ahead occurring at speeds of 30 km/h or less, by utilizing a closing velocity sensor.
