This year marks the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Bianca C off the shores of Grenada. Also known as “the Titanic of the Caribbean”, the wreck is 600 feet long, making it the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean and one of the top ten wreck sites in the world. To commemorate the 50th year of the Bianca C on the ocean floor, a replica of the Christ of the Deep statue was placed in the world's first Underwater Sculpture Park. A commemorative plaque has also been placed on both the Christ of the Deep statue and the Bianca C.
